I believe in travel. I believe in the adventure of going somewhere, where no one knows your name. I believe in the exploration of known lands unknown to yourself.

Travel, to me, is a way of escape. Ever since I can remember I have craved experience in other cultures whether they be in the Eastern or Western Hemisphere. Since I was less than a year old I have been given the opportunity to immerse myself in a myriad of different dialects and ways of life and that is a gift that I truly treasure. Without this experience of going to places like the Czech Republic, Germany, Honduras, Ireland, England, France, Holland, and a numerous number of places in the United States I would not be the person I am today. Travel moves people in a way of finding themselves. It opens a door, in which, enables anyone to see the world in a different way. To see it in a light of true color.

Travel has given me the ability to enhance my knowledge in international relations and expand my way of thought. Seeing the way in which other nations view life, for example, Honduras, awakens the acknowledgment of the joy found in small things. Their life is surrounded by immense poverty and even with that poverty they contain such vibrant joy. That joy is extremely inspiring and after experiencing their joy, it impacted my way of finding joy.

Travel has led me to many places not only physically but emotionally. Everywhere I have ended up has taken a piece of my heart, from the cobblestone streets of Prague and London to the dirt roads of Honduras. Every place has left me with something I will forever keep in my heart. This is why I believe in travel.

Throughout this blog I will explore various cultures and partake in a wide variety of cultural events. I look forward ot sharing these experiences with you all in hopes that you will be more aware of the differences between cultures and learn how to approach them when necessary. Enjoy!
